Placements24 is seeking a proficient SCADA Systems Engineer to join a fully remote team focused on the development, implementation and maintenance of SCADA systems for energy infrastructure. This role enables real-time monitoring and control of critical assets nationwide, with remote collaboration across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years designing, implementing and supporting SCADA systems, preferably in energy.
• Strong understanding of SCADA architecture, HMI development, and database management.

• Design, configure, and deploy SCADA systems, including HMIs, databases, and networks.
• Develop and maintain SCADA alarming, data logging, and reporting functionalities.
• Troubleshoot SCADA system issues, ensuring system availability and data integrity.
• Implement and manage communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3) between field devices and control centers.
• Develop system documentation, including design specifications, network diagrams, and operating procedures.
