Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer electrical control panels, schematics, and system layouts for industrial automation projects.
• Specify electrical components, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and control devices.
• Develop and maintain electrical documentation, including wiring diagrams, BOMs, and technical manuals, using CAD software.
• Provide remote technical support for the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and automation equipment.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, project managers, and clients via virtual communication tools to define system requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct remote design reviews and quality checks to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in industrial automation, electrical engineering, and relevant software tools.
• Assist in the development of standardized electrical design templates and libraries.
• Troubleshoot electrical control system issues remotely, guiding on-site technicians through resolutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of electrical design processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a significant focus on industrial automation and control systems.
• Proficiency in reading and creating electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
• Strong understanding of PLC programming logic, VFD configuration, and industrial networking protocols.
• Experience with specifying and integrating various electrical and electronic components for industrial machinery.
• Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with safety standards for industrial control systems (e.g., IEC 60204-1).
