Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
• 7+ years of experience specifically in electrical installation and site supervision.
• Experience managing installations for commercial, industrial, or residential projects.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical installation methods, materials and equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and site management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with testing and commissioning procedures.
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques is a plus.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity near Randburg, Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all aspects of electrical installations on project sites.
• Ensure installations comply with design drawings, specifications and codes.
• Develop and implement installation plans, schedules and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
• Manage site safety protocols and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with site managers, project managers, contractors and clients.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of installed systems and equipment.
• Prepare site progress reports with deviations and resolutions.
• Manage procurement and inventory of electrical materials on site.
• Mentor and guide site-based electrical teams and contractors.
