Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead and deliver complex electrical design across LV and MV systems up to 132kV. You will develop schedules, cost estimates and concept designs, evaluating options technically and commercially.

You will coordinate with contractors, vendors and control systems teams to ensure safe, compliant and energy-efficient solutions. The role requires a strong background in electrical design standards, calculations and documentation, with a focus on

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in the built environment after qualification.
• Bachelor of Science or Engineering from an accredited university.
• Master of Science or Engineering preferred.
• Professionally registered as an Engineer with ECSA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project schedules, estimates and progress reports.
• Electrical engineering design across LV/MV up to 132kV.
• Develop concept design and evaluate options technically and commercially.
• Produce load lists, single line diagrams, network diagrams and schematics.
• Perform short circuit, load flow and protection coordination studies.
• Design electrical network, protection schemes and EMC considerations.
• Coordinate with PLCs, DCS and Building Management Systems interfaces.
