Job summary

Centurion Systems, part of the FAAC Technologies Group, is seeking an experienced Electronic Engineer to join our Research & Development team. You will design complex electronic modules and devices, ensure compliance, document calculations, and contribute to product development in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

With at least 7 years in electronic engineering, you will mentor juniors, coordinate cross-disciplinary work, and drive projects from concept to testing.

Qualifications

• B.Eng/B.Tech Electronic Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Registration with a recognised engineering body will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design complex electronic modules, components and products.
• Assess project requirements and develop specifications and implementation plans.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to meet timelines and budgets.
• Document engineering calculations, algorithms, test procedures, cost estimates and reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and engineering standards.
• Develop testing procedures and re-test modules and products.
• Standardise designs with approved components and manage inventory considerations.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and technicians.
• Stay abreast of developments in electronic engineering.
