Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Educational Technologist for an Upington-based role focused on integrating technology into teaching and learning. You will support educators and students, develop engaging digital resources, and lead LMS management.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard), instructional design principles, and multimedia production tools to advance the digital learning environment in the Upington region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in educational technology or a similar role.
• Experience with Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard.
• Proficiency in instructional design and multimedia development tools.
• Ability to train and support users with varying levels of technical expertise.

Responsibilities
