Placements24 is seeking a highly qualified Senior Educational Psychologist to join a fully remote team. The role delivers psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention planning to support students' academic, social, and emotional development across Stellenbosch, Western Cape, and beyond.

You will conduct virtual assessments, collaborate with educators and parents, and contribute to school-wide wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology or Clinical Psychology with an educational focus.
• Registration with the relevant professional board (e.g., HPCSA in South Africa).
• Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience as an Educational Psychologist, preferably within an educational setting.
• Proven experience in conducting psycho-educational assessments and providing therapeutic interventions.
• Expertise in child and adolescent development, learning disabilities, and behavioral disorders.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify learning difficulties, behavioral issues, and emotional challenges.
• Develop and implement tailored intervention plans and therapeutic strategies for students.
• Provide individual and group counseling services to students addressing a range of issues.
