Job summary

WPP Enterprise Solutions in Cape Town seeks an experienced Project Manager with commerce experience and a technical background to lead complex, budget-conscious initiatives across multiple workstreams.

You will partner with the Programme Manager/Account Director to drive delivery, manage risks, and mentor junior PMs while shaping process improvements and stakeholder engagement. This is a high-impact role in a global team driving transformation and growth.

Qualifications

• Proven software development project management experience.
• eCommerce experience, ideally within retail.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and release management.
• Ability to lead teams and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Run complex projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams and manage interdependencies.
• Produce status reports on milestones, risks, and budgets.
• Lead and mentor junior project managers.
• Ensure delivery within budget and timeframes.
• Foster relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Continuously improve delivery processes.
• Manage client expectations and communications.
