Placements24 is seeking a Senior E-commerce Developer to join their Kimberley tech team, designing, developing, and maintaining robust e-commerce solutions. You will work on features and integrations, optimize performance and security, and contribute to high-quality online experiences.

The ideal candidate has strong web tech knowledge, experience with Magento/Shopify Plus and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and a passion for building user-centric sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional web development experience with e-commerce platforms (Magento, Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with React or Vue.js and back-end technologies.
• Strong understanding of database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable e-commerce websites and applications.
• Implement new features, integrations, and functionalities based on business requirements.
• Optimize website speed, security, and user experience.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
