Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and design drilling programs for exploration, appraisal, and development wells.
• Develop drilling cost estimates and manage drilling budgets effectively.
• Supervise drilling operations on-site, ensuring safety and policy adherence.
• Manage drilling equipment, materials, and personnel for optimal use.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation for drilling hazards.
• Oversee well control operations and emergency response procedures.
• Monitor drilling performance metrics and implement efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and production engineers.
• Prepare drilling performance reports and post-well analyses.
• Mentor junior drilling engineers and provide technical guidance.
