Placements24 in Mahikeng, South Africa, seeks a Senior Automotive Technician - Diagnostic Specialist to join their workshop. You will diagnose complex vehicle issues using advanced electronics, ECUs, CAN/LIN networks, and state-of-the-art tools.

Hybrid work arrangements are available along with ongoing training and development in a technologically advanced environment. ASE Master Technician certification is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an Automotive Technician with a strong specialization in diagnostics.
• Master certification (e.g., ASE Master Technician) is highly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of modern vehicle ECUs, CAN/LIN networks, and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth diagnostics on complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
• Interpret data, schematics, and bulletins to identify root causes.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and programming tools.
• Develop and implement repair strategies for challenging issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other technicians.
• Document diagnostic procedures and outcomes accurately.
