Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Diagnostic Technician in Mahikeng to perform in-depth diagnostics and drive accurate repairs. You will use state-of-the-art scan tools to pinpoint faults, interpret data, and develop repair strategies with service advisors.

The role requires at least 5 years of experience, OEM software proficiency, CAN bus knowledge, and ASE Master certification is preferred. Training and career growth are offered within a leading automotive service group.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and troubleshoot modern electrical and engine systems.
• Proficiency with OEM diagnostic software and advanced tools.
• Ability to interpret complex diagnostic data and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth diagnostics on complex vehicle issues across systems.
• Utilize advanced scan tools to pinpoint faults and verify repairs.
• Interpret DTCs, live data, and TSBS to guide repair strategies.
• Mentor and assist colleagues with challenging diagnostics.
• Conduct road tests to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
