Job summary

Ovations Technologies is seeking a Senior DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer for a 12-month contract with a banking client, operating in a hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 remote. You will design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable and secure cloud platforms for mission-critical applications.

Qualifications

8+ years in software engineering, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, or platform engineering.
5+ years hands-on DevOps engineering experience.
3+ years in SRE or production operations managing large-scale enterprise systems.
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
Strong observability knowledge and scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash/C#/Java.

Responsibilities

Design and build cloud-native infrastructure and automation templates.
Create CI/CD pipelines with automated tests and security controls.
Establish SLIs, SLOs, SLAs; lead incident response and RCAs.
Manage high availability, DR and cloud cost optimization.
Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers.
