Placements24 is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, develop IaC, and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP. The role emphasizes reliability, scalability, and collaboration between development and operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong scripting, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes, monitoring stacks, and security best practices in distributed environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related infra role.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) and config mgmt tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container tech (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Strong networking, security principles, and system administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement and monitor logging, alerting, and monitoring for production environments.
• Ensure security, scalability, and high availability of infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve infra-related issues and promote a DevOps culture.
