Job summary

iLaunch (Pty) Ltd in Gauteng seeks a senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and platform services across environments. You will lead CI/CD pipelines and enforce reliability engineering practices to improve delivery.

You will drive DevOps and SRE best practices, implement DevSecOps across the software delivery lifecycle, and collaborate with delivery teams to raise quality and velocity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering / Information Systems required.
• 8+ years in Software engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, or Platform engineering.
• 5+ years hands-on DevOps engineering experience.
• 3+ years in SRE or Production operations environments.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and platform services.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Establish reliability engineering practices and operational standards.
• Drive DevOps and SRE best practices across delivery teams.
