Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional DevOps or SRE experience.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash) and IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible).
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling like Jenkins/GitLab CI/CircleCI.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Manage containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform/Ansible.

This role is critical for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our production systems. You will be responsible for automating infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines, and fostering a culture of collaboration between development and operations teams. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of cloud platforms, containerization, and automation tools, with a passion for optimizing development workflows. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Requirements

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and system administration (Linux/Windows).
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience in a hybrid work environment is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in the Benoni area.
