Placements24 is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Vereeniging, Gauteng, SA to strengthen CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure in a hybrid work setup.

You will design and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate builds and deployments, and collaborate with development teams to improve performance and reliability while upholding security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
