Röhlig & Co in Johannesburg seeks a Senior Full Stack Java Developer for a 12-month fixed-term contract at our Linbro Park head office. You will own end-to-end development, from backend Java services to modern frontend interfaces, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of full-stack experience, strong Java expertise, and a track record of delivering production-grade software.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
• Expertise with RESTful APIs, microservices, relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience taking ideas from designs to production at an Enterprise level.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Experience mentoring developers and contributing to engineering culture.

Are you ready to take your development career to the next level? We’re looking for a tech‑savvy Senior Full Stack Java Developer on a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months to join us at our Head Office based in Linbro Park, JHB

Education

• Matric
• Software development certification and relevant experience

Knowledge and experience

• 6–8+ years professional experience in full‑stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, and service‑oriented architectures.
• Experience with modern front‑end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
• Expertise with RESTful APIs, microservices, relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience with bringing new ideas and concepts from designs and requirements to production, at an Enterprise level
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Experience mentoring developers and contributing to an engineering culture.

Nice to have skills

• Experience with Logistics or supply chain platforms.
• Knowledge of API gateways, service meshes.
