Ad Talent Africa is seeking a Senior Designer with 6–8+ years of professional design experience to lead and mentor a designer across multiple brands and platforms. You will shape concepts, ensure brand consistency, and deliver high-quality creative work for integrated campaigns, digital, social media, and corporate communications.

You will oversee design quality, present concepts to teams and clients, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and elevate visual storytelling.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of professional design experience.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and excellent design execution.
• Advanced proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, with working knowledge of Canva.
• Strong presentation design skills using PowerPoint, Google Slides or Canva.
• Excellent understanding of typography, layout, colour, branding and visual storytelling.
• Experience in digital design, social media content, integrated campaigns and corporate communications.
• Previous experience mentoring or managing designers and approving creative work.
• Knowledge of print production and digital artwork specifications.

Responsabilités

• Ensure design quality, consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Review and approve all design work before delivery or publication.
• Manage, guide and mentor the Designer, providing creative direction and feedback.
• Collaborate with creative, content, account and traffic teams to manage briefs and deadlines.
• Oversee multiple projects while maintaining high creative standards.
• Improve design processes, templates and workflows.
• Present and explain creative concepts to internal teams and clients when required.

We are looking for a creatively driven Senior Designer with 6–8+ years of design experience, strong conceptual skills and proven leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will oversee design quality, manage and mentor a Designer, and deliver exceptional creative work across multiple brands and platforms.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and excellent design execution

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, with working knowledge of Canva

• Strong presentation design skills using PowerPoint, Google Slides or Canva

• Excellent understanding of typography, layout, colour, branding and visual storytelling

• Experience in digital design, social media content, integrated campaigns and corporate communications

• Previous experience mentoring or managing designers and approving creative work

• Knowledge of print production and digital artwork specifications

• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure

• Motion graphics, video editing, Figma and AI-assisted creative tools would be advantageous
