Smartstuff Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Deputy Head to join our leadership team for May 2027 start. The role focuses on the Junior School (Grades 4–7), ensuring a coherent pathway to the Senior School and strong connections with parents and feeder communities.

The successful candidate will provide strategic, academic and pastoral leadership, overseeing transition between school phases, and promoting high standards across academics, sport, culture and wellbeing while deputising for

Qualifications

Strong educational leadership translated into effective leadership.
Understanding child development in preparatory years.
Drive high standards across academics, sport, culture, and personal development.
Experience overseeing a Junior School boarding environment.
Excellent wellbeing understanding and collaboration with wellness teams.
Ability to communicate with pupils, parents and staff effectively.

Responsabilités

Provide strategic, academic and pastoral leadership within the Junior School.
Collaborate with Senior School and support teams to align educational objectives.
Lead transitions between phases, ensuring academic progress and wellbeing.
Represent the school externally with prospective families and feeder communities.
Deputise for Head when required and contribute to senior leadership planning.
