Job summary

Old Mutual Limited is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead one or more large projects with a medium to large team. You will focus on planning, governance, and delivering on time, within budget and scope.

The role requires strong Agile delivery experience and stakeholder engagement across senior levels. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in project management, 5+ years of leadership, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ project management experience, with complex technology and/or business change initiatives.
• Minimum 5 years’ managerial/leadership experience within a project or delivery environment.
• Strong experience in Agile delivery, including delivery across multiple teams.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/SAFe or equivalent certification would be advantageous.
• Experience within financial services, wealth or investment management would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production of project plans and approve them, ensuring activities deliver objectives and conform to governance frameworks.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing and production readiness, tracking progress, dependencies, defects and readiness.
• Plan and lead information gathering, analysis, and stakeholder consultations to define deliverables.
• Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans to ensure stakeholders have a voice.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints; escalate where appropriate.
• Lead a small- to medium-sized project team and drive continuous improvement.
