Job summary

Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) is seeking a Senior Manager for Deal Desk in Cape Town. You will partner with Sales and CRM across the full opportunity lifecycle, shaping complex commercial strategies and governance frameworks.

The role emphasizes risk-aware deal structuring and relentless pursuit of value. You will lead the governance model, coordinate with Legal and Operations, and ensure accurate revenue recognition while maintaining velocity in deal closing.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Deal Desk or Revenue Operations experience.
• Proven track record structuring and closing complex, non-standard deals with Sales.
• Fluency using CRM systems across full opportunity lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management tools.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and governance for deal approval.
• Solid financial acumen in pricing, margins and revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and CRM across the full opportunity lifecycle, embedding with Sales from Identify through Closed Won.
• Own complex commercial pursuits, structuring and negotiating non-standard deals across the portfolio.
• Build governance and control backbone with tiered governance, auto-approval and escalation processes.
• Balance commercial value with financial accuracy, ensuring deal numbers hold up to scrutiny.
• Serve as connective tissue across Sales, Product Management, Business Operations and Legal.
• Design process and systems, and explore automation to reduce friction and add value.
