Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst specializing in Threat Intelligence for a fully remote role. You will proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate advanced cyber threats, focusing on TTPs, malware analysis, and forensics to support incident response teams and leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a remote environment while staying ahead of evolving

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat intelligence or incident response.
• Proven experience analyzing malware, phishing campaigns, and APTs.
• Strong understanding of attacker TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Experience with security tooling (SIEM/EDR/IDS/IPS) and threat intel platforms.
• Digital forensics experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work remotely.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a specialization in threat intelligence or incident response.
• Proven experience in analyzing various types of cyber threats, including malware, phishing, and APTs.
• Strong understanding of attacker TTPs, frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, and cyber kill chain methodology.
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Experience with digital forensics and malware analysis techniques is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
