Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for a fully remote role. You will monitor security events, investigate incidents, and implement containment strategies while coordinating with IT teams to embed security across the infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity, strong SIEM experience, and knowledge of NIST/ISO 27001. Excellent communication and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience, focusing on threat detection and incident response.
• Strong understanding of network, endpoint, and cloud security.
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ELK Stack) and other monitoring solutions.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, crucial for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Experience in digital forensics is a plus.
