Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on security analysis and incident response.
• Knowledge of network security, OS security and common attack vectors.
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS.
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies.
• Understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
• Certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, GIAC are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoints.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Develop and implement security policies, standards and procedures.
• Stay updated on threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
• Assist in incident response plan maintenance and playbooks.
• Configure and manage security tools and technologies.
• Provide security awareness training to staff.
• Collaborate with IT to integrate security across infrastructure.
• Generate reports on security posture and trends.
• Participate in threat hunting exercises.
