Job summary

Ikwezi Mining (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to own daily and monthly cashbook captures, manage bank reconciliations across multiple entities, and oversee a high-volume invoice process with strict 3-way matching. You will implement SAP controls, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with treasury on weekly payment runs.

The role requires strong ERP experience (SAP/Sage/Pastel), extensive AP knowledge, and a track record in multi-entity environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of accounts payable experience.
• At least 2 years in a senior creditor or AP supervisor role.
• Direct experience with high-volume invoice capture and 3-way matching (PO/GRN/invoice).
• Direct experience with supplier statement reconciliation and creditor reconciliation.
• Direct experience with bank reconciliation in a multi-account environment.
• Working experience with an ERP system (SAP, Sage, Pastel Evolution, or equivalent).
• Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics or Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily cashbook capture for multiple entities and monthly cashbooks.
• Own monthly bank reconciliations across all in-scope entities.
• Lead accounts payable supervision including 3-way matching and sign-off on reconciliations.
• Embed segregation of duties between creditor capture and accountant approval in SAP.
• Mentor Junior Creditor and liaise with Transport Senior Creditor on payment runs.
