You will lead automation strategies, work with GE iFIX, Wonderware, and Ignition platforms, and ensure cybersecurity and reliability across the grid while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on SCADA experience in the energy sector.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA systems across generation, transmission, and distribution assets.
• Proficiency with SCADA platforms and communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850).
• Strong understanding of control theory, electrical power systems, and industrial networking.

This role is 100% remote, allowing you to contribute to critical energy infrastructure projects from anywhere. You will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems that monitor and control power generation, transmission, and distribution assets. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of the energy grid, enabling seamless integration of diverse energy sources. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of hands‑on experience with SCADA system design , implementation, and maintenance in the energy sector.
• Proficiency with common SCADA software platforms (e.g., GE iFIX, Wonderware, Ignition) and protocols (e.g., DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850).
• Strong understanding of control theory, electrical power systems, and industrial networking.
• Experience with database management and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
