Fence & Deck Marketers, a specialized digital marketing agency for fencing, decking, and outdoor-living contractors, seeks a seasoned Content Strategist/SEO Content specialist. You will translate keyword data, SEO insights, and business goals into clear content strategies that align with client objectives.

You’ll work with the SEO Manager, Web Development, and AI teams to develop briefs, plan pages, and drive localization to rank and convert for local markets.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of experience in content strategy, SEO content, or a related field.
• Strong experience with content planning, search intent, and content performance.
• Working knowledge of keyword research and competitor analysis, with the ability to map keywords to the correct pages.
• Proven experience creating localized, city-level and service-level content.
• Proven experience writing content for local and service-area businesses.
• Experience with topical authority, entity optimization, and topical coherence.
• Experience training AI agents and building AI-powered content workflows.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Develop and produce content across website home pages and service pages, location pages, ads landing pages, press releases, content calendars.
• Identify content gaps, recommend new opportunities, and improve existing content based on search intent, competition, and performance.
• Create localized content tailored to each client’s market, city, and service area.
• Write for local and service-area businesses with a voice suitable for local brands.
• Build topical authority through structured content, entity optimization, and internal linking.
• Train AI agents and build AI-powered content workflows with human oversight.
• Create clear content briefs and review AI-generated content for accuracy, readability, and local relevance.
• Collaborate with SEO Manager and Web Development for on-page execution.
