Job summary

RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable Building & Civil Contractor, seeks an experienced Project Manager to join their Cape Town team on a major project. You will plan, manage and deliver construction initiatives safely, on time and within budget.

Requirements include a National Diploma or Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, SACPCMP registration, 10+ years PM experience, MS Project proficiency and a valid driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Project Management experience in construction.
• Proven experience managing building and civil construction projects from inception to completion.
• MS Project proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver construction projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Develop and monitor project programmes using MS Project.
• Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Manage project costs, budgets, cash flow and commercial performance.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, quality, Health & Safety and environmental requirements.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Chair project and site meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Identify and manage project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
