Job summary

RPO Recruitment’s client in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee building projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, budget control and quality. You will manage contracts, coordinate subcontractors and lead teams, applying strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills to meet demanding timelines.

Applicants should hold a relevant Diploma or Degree in Construction Management or related field, with 5–10

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years’ experience in building construction with PM experience.
• Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodology, programme management, cost control and subcontractor management.
• Understanding of building contracts, variations and claims.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in MS Office and project scheduling software.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
