Our client is seeking a seasoned and hands-on Senior Construction Foreman to supervise and direct on-site construction activities in the historic town of Paarl . This critical role involves leading a team of skilled tradespeople and labourers, ensuring that work is performed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of tasks, managing workflow, and ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of construction crews, including carpenters, masons, plumbers, and electricians.

• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and building codes on the construction site.
• Manage the efficient use of materials, equipment, and labour to optimize project timelines and costs.
• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure quality workmanship.
• Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager and other stakeholders regarding site progress and any encountered challenges.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry .
• Proven ability to lead and motivate construction teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of various construction trades, methods, and materials.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications accurately.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with crews, management, and clients.
