Placements24 is hiring a Senior Contracts Manager for Randburg to oversee all contractual aspects of major construction projects in Gauteng. You will draft, review, and manage contracts, lead negotiation, mitigate risks, and protect the company's interests throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in construction contract management, strong knowledge of JBCC, NEC, and FIDIC, and proven leadership in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Law, Construction or related field.
12+ years in construction contract management, with senior experience.
Knowledge of JBCC, NEC, FIDIC and related dispute mechanisms.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts and subcontracts.
Manage contract lifecycle from pre-qualification to closeout.
Oversee contract compliance and risk mitigation.
Liaise with project teams, legal counsel, and stakeholders.
Provide expert contract advice to management.
Monitor market trends and legal developments in construction.
Develop best practices for contract management.
