Qualifications

• Law degree or related field qualification.
• 7+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or audit roles within the Banking & Finance industry.
• Strong knowledge of South African financial regulations (FAIS, FICA, POPIA).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's comprehensive compliance program.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify non-compliance.
• Interpret and advise on impact of new or changing laws and regulations on the business.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees across all levels.
• Investigate and resolve compliance breaches and regulatory issues.
• Represent the company in dealings with regulatory authorities and external auditors.
