Placements24 is seeking a Senior Community Sports Development Officer to lead grassroots sports initiatives in Benoni, Gauteng, enhancing community health and developing sustainable programs across diverse communities.

You will plan, implement and evaluate projects, engage schools and clubs, secure funding, build partnerships, and mentor a team to expand access to sport and recreation with a focus on inclusion and social impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in community development or sports management.
• Proven ability to plan, implement and evaluate programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for community sports development.
• Identify opportunities and secure funding through grants and partnerships.
• Design, coordinate and deliver accessible sports programs for diverse age groups.
• Build relationships with schools, community centers and sports clubs.
• Recruit, train and manage volunteers and program staff.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and impact.
