Ideal candidates hold a Property Studies/Real Estate degree, a professional designation (PAV or similar), 5–7 years of experience, and strong knowledge of SA property law and valuation methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Property Studies or Real Estate or related field.
• Professional designation such as PAV (SACPVP) or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of experience in commercial property valuation.
• In-depth knowledge of SA property law and valuation methods.
• Proficiency in valuation software and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Valuate commercial properties including office, retail, industrial and mixed-use assets.
• Prepare valuation reports adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze market data and indicators to determine accurate values.
• Advise clients on investment, acquisition and disposal strategies.
• Liaise with owners, legal representatives, financial institutions and government bodies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, legislation and best practices.
• Mentor junior valuers and promote a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
• Ensure valuations are conducted ethically and per professional codes of conduct.
