Job summary

A leading air navigation services provider in Kempton Park seeks a qualified engineering professional to manage Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance (CNS) systems. The role entails reviewing user requirements, providing technical input, and developing methods for process optimization. Ideal candidates will have a B.Sc. in Engineering or related fields and 5 years of experience in high-technology electronic engineering environments. Candidates should also have knowledge of ATM/CNS system architecture and processes alongside the ability to provide specialist advice to clients.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. / B.Eng. in Engineering / Electrical / Electronic or related field or BTech in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or B.Sc. in Computer Science.
• Engineering Council of SA Professional registration as an Engineer will be an advantage.
• Post-graduate qualification in Engineering or Technology Management will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review user requirements and provide specialist input.
• Translate user requirements into functional specifications.
• Serve on the ATNS corporate design authority.
• Assume technical lead on proactive problem identification.
• Develop methods for process optimisation and automation.
