Job summary

Oxyon People Solutions in Vanderbijlpark is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our engineering team. The role focuses on programming CNC Milling Machines and Centre Lathes, using Fanuc and Siemens controls to produce precision components.

You will read blueprints, select tooling, set speeds and feeds, and perform on-machine checks to ensure quality. Independence, reliability and the ability to meet production deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified/experienced CNC Programmer.
• Proven experience programming and operating CNC Milling Machines and Centre Lathes.
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc and Siemens controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of G-code and CNC programming.
• Experience with setting, programming and operating CNC machinery.
• Ability to select tooling, speeds and feeds.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and quality requirements.
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
• Relevant engineering/machining qualification will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Programme CNC Milling Machines and Centre Lathes.
• Set up and operate CNC machinery.
• Develop and modify CNC programmes using Fanuc and Siemens controls.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Select tooling and machining parameters.
• Perform quality checks and ensure components meet required specifications.
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient working environment.
