Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Lead Cloud Engineer to steer cloud infrastructure initiatives. This fully remote role allows shaping the cloud environment from anywhere, with responsibility for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years in cloud engineering with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
• Experience designing and managing multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proficient in Python or Bash and IaC tools Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and remote communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Implement and maintain IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate delivery.
• Ensure security, availability, and performance with monitoring and alerts.
• Lead a team of cloud engineers with mentorship and feedback.
• Collaborate with development and operations to optimize resources.
