Job summary

Glacier by Sanlam in Cape Town seeks a senior customer and client servicing specialist to resolve complex service matters and strengthen long‑term client value. This role handles complaint analysis, retention trends, and policy improvements while supporting high net worth intermediaries and internal clients with excellent service.

Based in Cape Town, you will work across multiple CRM processes, ensuring timely responses and escalation handling to protect and grow client relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years client relationship experience in financial services.
• Experience in Linked Investment environment advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence and own car required.

Responsibilities

• Act as first-line supervisor of a team providing customer service support, helping achieve targets.
• Provide advanced product/service information and respond to complex customer questions.
• Resolve more advanced issue escalations and obtain managerial approvals as required.
• Monitor team members' use of the CRM system and escalate standard issues as appropriate.
• Develop and implement a customer contact plan to communicate product launches and engage customers in relevant sales campaigns.
• Manage intermediaries and internal clients, delivering excellent service and maintaining relationships.
