The ideal candidate has 5+ years in motor vehicle claims, strong knowledge of SA legislation including the Road Accident Fund Act, and excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• In-depth knowledge of South African motor vehicle insurance legislation, including the Road Accident Fund Act.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using claims management software and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle complex motor vehicle insurance claims per policy terms.
• Assess damages, liability, and policy coverage to determine claim validity and payout amounts.
• Liaise with policyholders, repairers, legal representatives, and other parties to gather information and facilitate the claims process.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and third parties, aiming for fair outcomes.
