Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and manage complex liability and bodily injury claims from inception to closure.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in handling complex liability and bodily injury claims within the insurance industry.
• In-depth knowledge of South African insurance legislation, case law, and claims procedures.
• Proven track record in successful negotiation and settlement of high-value and complex claims.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
• High degree of empathy, integrity, and professionalism.
• Proficiency in claims management systems and MS Office Suite.
• A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., LLB, Diploma in Insurance) is highly advantageous.
