Job summary

BVi Consulting Engineers Northern Cape (Pty) Ltd invites a Professional Civil Engineer to join the Upington office on a permanent basis. You will lead municipal water and wastewater projects through feasibility, design, procurement, construction and commissioning, ensuring quality and compliance.

The role requires 10+ years' experience, ECSA PrEng/PrTechEng registration, and willingness to travel. You will mentor junior staff and coordinate cross-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years' experience in municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects through full lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of civil, hydraulic, and treatment interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and delivery of municipal water and wastewater schemes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs from civil, process, mechanical and electrical engineers.
• Prepare reports, specifications and bills of quantities for tenders.
• Manage client and stakeholder interfaces and oversee construction monitoring.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership.
