Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join a fully remote team focused on infrastructure design projects. You will lead design processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor junior engineers from your home office.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Civil 3D), and PE registration is desirable. You will collaborate with remote managers and clients on complex urban and regional development projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design with infrastructure focus.
• Proficiency in CAD software and design/analysis tools; PE registration desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex civil infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, water/wastewater).
• Perform detailed engineering calculations and produce design documentation.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies with technical advice.
• Ensure designs comply with national and international standards, building codes and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with remote project managers, clients, regulators and other disciplines.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and design technicians.
