Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with 10+ years of progressive infrastructure experience to lead large-scale projects remotely from anywhere in South Africa. You will manage end-to-end delivery, budgets, schedules and stakeholder engagement, ensuring safety, quality and sustainability.

The role requires Pr Eng registration, a Civil Engineering degree, and proven PM experience using MS Project or Primavera P6.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in project management roles.
• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, dams, water infrastructure, buildings).
• Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Strong understanding of contract management, procurement, and financial controls.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
