Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and planning of various civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, water supply, and sanitation systems.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to inform project scope and design.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents using industry-standard software.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring project milestones are met.
• Liaise with clients, government authorities, stakeholders, and other consultants to ensure project alignment and compliance.
• Oversee the construction phase, providing technical guidance and ensuring quality control and adherence to safety standards.
• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Conduct regular project reviews and progress reports for senior management and clients.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng).
