Job summary

UNICEF South Africa is seeking a Child Protection and Rights Manager in Pretoria to lead and supervise child protection programmes from planning to delivery, ensuring alignment with CRC and national policies. You will coordinate with government, partners, and communities to protect children’s rights, develop strategies, and monitor results.

The role requires an advanced degree, at least eight years' relevant experience in child protection, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law, or another relevant social science field.
• Eight years of professional experience in social development planning and management in child protection and child rights related areas, at the international level.
• Strong technical expertise in child protection, safeguarding, policy analysis, and programme management.
