The ideal candidate has 8+ years in chemical plant operations, a Bachelor's in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, and hands-on experience with HAZOP/LOPA, leadership, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in chemical plant operations and engineering, with focus on reliability and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of chemical processes, equipment, and industry best practices.
• Proven experience with HAZOP, LOPA, and other process safety methodologies.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex engineering projects and budgets.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all aspects of chemical plant engineering, including maintenance, reliability, and capital projects.
• Ensure the plant operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting for process upsets and equipment failures with long-term solutions.
• Oversee plant modification and expansion projects from design to commissioning.
• Mentor junior engineering staff and foster continuous improvement and best practices.
