Placements24 is seeking a Lead Animation Director in George to spearhead animation production and guide a talented team of animators. You will establish artistic direction, ensure high-quality character performance, and collaborate with directors, art leads, and tech artists to bring ambitious visions to life.

The role emphasizes leadership, storytelling, and pushing the boundaries of visual media in a dynamic project environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive animation experience including leadership or director roles.
• Strong portfolio showing character performance and cinematography.
• Proficiency in Maya, Blender and 3ds Max.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all aspects of character animation, ensuring consistency in style, performance, and quality.
• Collaborate with directors and storytellers to interpret scripts and storyboards into compelling animated sequences.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the animation team, providing constructive feedback and fostering a creative, collaborative atmosphere.
• Establish and maintain animation pipelines, tools, and best practices to ensure efficiency and technical excellence.
• Review animation progress, provide detailed notes, and ensure that all animation meets project milestones and creative goals.
