Pathfinders Consulting Pty (LTD) is seeking a senior Financial Manager to lead the financial performance and control environment from its Cape Town base. The role partners with the CFO and operations to deliver insights, drive profitability and ensure accurate reporting in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The successful candidate will manage forecasting, budgeting, revenue recognition, and governance, while developing the finance team and strengthening systems and controls across the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant, CA(SA) is mandatory.
• At least five years in a Financial Manager/senior financial leadership role.
• Experience leading and developing a finance team.
• Experience in high-volume, operational environments.
• Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, Sage, NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting across multiple streams.
• Analyse revenue, margins, costs, volumes and trends to identify KPIs.
• Present financial results and insights to senior management.
• Manage cashflow forecasting, creditor cycles and working capital.
• Strengthen financial controls and governance across finance and operations.
• Lead internal and external audit processes and statutory compliance.
• Drive financial systems, master data and reporting improvements.
• Partner with operational leaders to improve profitability and performance.
