Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer/Engineering Sciences.
• Strong Microsoft web development toolsets and a solid grasp of the .NET Framework and C#.
• In-depth ASP.NET, C#.NET and XML experience on .NET 4.7.2+

Responsibilities

• Build reusable components across platforms and ensure long-term maintainability.
• Break complex problems into manageable work packages for the team.
• Support live systems and build the next phase without regression.
• Learn the product and domain, translate rough requirements into working software.
• Refactor for maintainability, adaptability, and future changes.
• Uphold coding standards and improve team processes.
• Push performance and high availability under load.
• Write unit and integrated tests to verify features.
• Document component usage and architecture for others.
• Review code to protect quality before client delivery.
• Build trust with clients when the system is under pressure.
• Perform root cause analysis and fix root causes, not symptoms.
• Deploy onto the application server and own the result.
• Run functional test scenarios before others.
• Incorporate others’ changes and ensure system interoperability.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
